Hello everyone, my first post here so forgive me if this is the wrong place to place this theory but I have a general question.
It's been a while since I watched the original series and movie but I don't actually recall a specific point where bob possessed Cooper. In fact, I remember seeing evil cooper laughing alongside bob.
Now, don't get me wrong, I know 100% that cooper is possessed but my theory is that he's not possessed by BOB but instead by Windom Earle. I know BOB took Windom's soul at the end of the original series but doesn't that mean he could do what he liked with it? Such as send him back as cooper to do his bidding or something?
Who knows, as I said it's been a while since I watched the original series but I think this makes sense when you put the phone call in the hotel room into consideration as the person of the phone doesn't refer to bad coop as Bob.
If anyone could help piece this together and point out where I went wrong / right, I'd greatly appreciate that!

In the final episode of season 2 when doppelganger Cooper returns from the Black Lodge and he wakes up and goes to the bathroom to brush his teeth or something (i don't remember exactly as well) he looks into the mirror and we see bob's face. So I interpreted this as "ok bob possesed doppel-dale" now i don't know if Cooper's doppelganger is still possessed by Bob or not. As to Windom Earle: I really really don't know. I love twin peaks but i'm so confused right now.
