I wonder if the atomic mushroom poster and the Franz Kafka portrait can give us hints on what will happen?

It might be just an hommage as I can see Lynch as a Kafka fan.

As far as the mushroom cloud is concerend, I took it to mean that Albert and Gordon's relationship is going to face, um... Significant difficulties in the future. This seems especially apparent given Albert's revelation at the end of the episode.
