This might be a bit of stretch, but does anyone think there might be some sort of connection between Dougie and Jacoby's golden spades?
Dougie's name can be shortened to Doug ("dug") and it appears that he was "made" from a pearl that was also gold.
Just to follow up on this, are we sure we've been spelling Dougie's name right this whole time?
I only ask because after looking at the credits again I noticed that we never actually see the word "Dougie" anywhere. Kyle MacLachlan is always just listed as "Kyle MacLachlan", without any character names.
Also, Naomi Watts is credited as "Janey-E Jones", so could it actually be "Doug-E Jones" instead of "Dougie Jones"?
And what is the strange way she refers to what I guess is their son?
I remember it being a bit weird
Dougie is spelled right - his coffee cup says so! ☕️
Of course! Well remembered!
With so much happening in these episodes it's easy to forget the smaller things.
And Dougie's son is called "Sonny Jim Jones".

Im curious to see where this goes. Coop and Janey-E are VERY white and that child is seemingly not fully caucasian.
Could a doppelganger/golem/whatever Dougie was, have children?
is there a father out there somewhere?
I'm wondering if it is relevant that Dougie shares the first name of Douglas "Dougie" Milford, the hero of Mark Frost's Secret History of Twin Peaks.

"In the show, he is always wearing a gold ring with a green stone or gem on his right ring finger."
