I thought this was all a self indulgent deal Lynch made with Showtime. 18 episodes where Lynch created more screen time for himself than any of the characters we really wanted to see. My Sunday's were wasted for 17 weeks. Anticipation that was credited to a show that could of delivered so much more. I know I'm probably gonna get ripped by fanboys of Lynch that will never admit that he produced a piece of garbage with the third season of Twin Peaks.
I would like to hear how any of you would defend a most likely to be series finale that featured almost half the episode of actors sitting silent in a car driving. Really? I mean it felt like watching paint dry, but at least with paint drying there is a point to it. I recommended this show to so many people that I now have to apologize to and explain why they shouldn't bother watching the third season.
David Lynch you proved to me that you knew nothing about ending a great premise of a show and just wanted to indulge your failed aspirations of becoming an actor. You wanted to end the show with an open door ending? that's fine. But what are your excuses of leaving so many of the other questions unanswered that you could of still accomplished to solve. David Lynch you should of left this show buried in annals of TV shows that ended without failed potential.
+1
Who says that this is the last season? Showtime has already said they are game for season 4, but it´s up to David Lynch to agree for another season.
hope u got some satisfaction getting that of ur chest..
Truck you

Sir I hope you are correct, but I'm holding out for a movie instead of a new season. I don't want to sit through another third of a year watching this show.

I hope you get some satisfaction from your useless comment to my thread.
i really liked the last season of lost, as i did like this season of twin peaks. but on both those shows i am not a fan of the very last episode.
i dont expect to get all the answers thrown at me at the end, but why bother to make it all more complicated than it already is? and why end it with cliffhangers if you know its the last episode.
if there was a season 4 planned already, then yes. but like this 🙁

But that wouldn´t be fun. Another season would be great to wrap this up. I am always up for more Twin Peaks. Plus 4 seasons ain´t that bad. Remember, LOST had 6 seasons. ?

The Last three could of basically been summarized into one season.
haha i disagree, i think the first three seasons were terribly long and it only started to get really good at season four.
its just about personal taste in the end i think

You're right it is about taste. I could see your point about the first three seasons too.

Yeah, but it still had 6 seasons. I don´t see a problem with another season of TP. Hell, if they wanted to they could go on for as much as for 5 or even 6 seasons. But that´s really up to David Lynch and Mark Frost on how far they wanna take it.

This isn't a show with actors in their prime. I don't know if they will be able to carry the show as long as you pointed out. Instead of saying how long Lynch and Frost want to write the show, the question should revolve more around their health.
i do remember how many people comblained about fwwm not being a sequel and not explaining things from the show.
now this new season which plays later explains more stuff from fwwm than from the original show.
it did kinda justify the direction fwwm took.
also i am very confident that new theories will rise in the next few months and there will be some light in this darkness that part 18 left us in

Shouldn´t be a problem, most of the main cast aren´t that old. David Lynch is 71 and Mark Frost is 63. They could still pull of a few more seasons if they really wanted too. But that´s up to them.
