Around the dinner table, the conversation was lively. Thank you but for now, the forum has been archived.
So, if Sheriff Station Scene at episode 17 is really the last scene of the whole show (As some theories are stating). Can we like a community try to create a timeline?
I'm specially interested in knowing when would the Diane/Coop's/Cole basement scene would occur.
The feeling I get from 8 and 18 played simultaneously is that the scenes of Coop and Diane with the old fashioned car are set in 1945.
Thats a good observation. A question that it raises then is...Why the period changes when they leave the Motel?
There was already something wrong with Diane; She's Gone Away over the 430 scene lets us know this a tiny bit ahead of time then something happens during the sex magick... It starts off amazing and positive then shifts dark towards the climax. Something happened at climax, it could be that their ritual was to alter time, or maybe it's Diane's doing.
There are some theories going around saying that the sex ritual closed the portal or something, It was something related with The Secret History of Twin Peaks.

The car they are driving is a mid 60s Ford.
Interesting. Also interesting is that My Prayer was issued in 1956 but it's playing in the 1945 scenes.
And if i remembered correctly, the music is actually playing inside the show, right? I mean, IN the radio station?
If that's the case, it could really mean something, or maybe it was just an error?
In the hotel room it's being played over the soundtrack but in episode 8 it's being played on the radio from a 7" vinyl record...
I'm wrong about the timeline - the radio station scene takes place in 1956 so the record is period correct.
Haha welp, one less worry!
