When Cooper placed himself in the scene where Laura and James have their scene from Fire Walk with Me, and Laura sees Cooper and screams, I was sure that shortly after we would find out Cooper would be that strange man who was standing in the background when Bobby and Mike were making the drug deal with Leo early on in season 1. It would finally answer the question of who was that, but alas it is still a mystery.
