Apologies if this has been mentioned, I've read a lot but not everything. In the end of 18 Richard and Linda are driving to the Laura Palmer house. They drive over the bridge and past the RR Diner. As they do, I noticed that all of the RR 2 GO! branding was stripped from the building. This could mean a lot of things. Past, future, or other dimension, it's another cool thing to think about. Thoughts?
Could be past, future, other dimension or dreamscape. This could also be the "real world".
Perhaps, Norma was freed from the requirement to have a RR 2 GO! service when she got out of her franchise contract. If so, she may have had Toad out there the next day with a paint brush.
And considering it's painted on the actual building and probably has been since day one of filming, it wasn't an oversight. This was quite intentional.
Not sure about the omission of "2 GO!" but after watching Part 17 and 18, I now believe the Double R diner is a reference to Richard. "Two Richards" (RR) - the evil Richard (Mr. C) and the good Richard (Coop). If this theory is correct, the "2 GO!" could be omitted, as Richard already crossed over at 430 - before that, the two Richards had "to go" and after, they had already gone. Not sure, though...
If the double r in part 18 is in a different reality, this may explain the discrepancies between the Secret History and season 2 regarding Norma's family.
Also we can see two different groups of customers inside the diner when Bobby runs in, this is because we are simultaneously watching two different dimensions

September 2015, Twede's was closed a couple of weeks for the filming, and RR2Go! appeared on the walls :
So yeah, for the last night scene, the "RR2Go!" painting was masked on purpose.
