That one is very cool Lucas 🙂
Wasn't there one flying over Dougie (when he first came to his house with red door? Can't remember for sure)
You're right !
(I've completely forgotten this scene)
Interesting there is only one reference to the feathered owl type...but lots of references to electricity and the type in this thread 🙂

There was also a shadow of an owl at the beginning of the first episode flying over Twin Peaks.
I've just watch the episode 17 and was wondering what dale was looking for in the forest after Laura vanished.. Well here is another owl in season 3!! within the trees do you see it too ? sure it can't be a coincidence =)
(Sorry i don't know how to insert a photo)
Justine, I keep coming back to this thread. It really is a brilliant find and I am surprised this has not spread wider yet. "The Owls Are Not What They Seem" was a key phrase back in the day. And the link to the telegraph poles / "electricity" / house numbers is a wonder to behold !
Don't we all wish we could break a story like this one? Well done!
One of the best threads I've seen. Darnit I wish I had seen the finale at the beginning of the month and was here for all the threads.
Incredible find Justine!!
And yeah, I've been thinking about that owl in Janey-E's first scene forever. Seemed like that and Lucy's pin were the only owls this season--until the one in the woods at the end. Now we know there are owls all over the place. And the business about cell phones vs. landlines is really something to think about.

There was also an owl cookie jar in the Jones' kitchen.
DAMN GOOD FIND!
When I saw the shot of the power lines with that cool jittering effect over it in the trailer, I knew that electricity was going to be an important factor in this season.
Great thread! Lots of fantastic ideas in here. Thanks!!
What are all the places where electrical pole 6 shows up? Is there a list anywhere?

The Fat Trout Trailer Park in Deer Meadow (FWWM).
The New Fat Trout Trailer Park in Twin Peaks (TPTR).
Carrie's House in Odessa, TX (TPTR).
Thank you!
Is that the exhaustive list?
Don't let me bury the exhaustive list search, but I thought I'd broach this oddity - Doesn't Margaret have a perfectly modern phone...right next to the perfectly odd (and muilt-line) phone that she uses to speak with Hawk?
I know too little, but it bothered me from the get go.

It was filmed at Catherine Coulson home and this is probably her own phone.
