So did the car also change when they crossed the 430mile mark?

I watched for that.  No.  When they arrived at night, they arrived in the '66 Ford Galaxie at the first motel.  The Lincoln didn't appear until morning.

So Coop and Diane started the daytime journey from twin peaks in the '66 Ford Galaxie ... it remained the same car when they crossed 430 miles and only changed the next morning?

Or was it Coop and Diane?  Was it actually Richard and Linda?  And did Richard and Linda come from another place and time?
