So on first glance I thought I saw the Experiment, but not where some of you think. I didn't see the "head" at all, but this image on the first floor, right side looked like part of a body with no head. Shades of Ruth Davenport?

These are the curtains though, right? I see what you are saying but there is the same matching image in the 3rd right window being the other half of the curtains. Not sure I am seeing anything in the upper darkened windows either but great potential concept regardless.

OK- so I got an OK screen capture though it's not the same window. There are  couple of things against careful analysis, the biggest being that the whole series has had some of the worst video compression I've ever seen in a modern HD broadcast. Maybe you also noticed that whenever we "fade to black" (or any dark scene for that matter, in any episode) we still see a video "ghost" image, or big blocky shapes long after the transition. Many of the coolest scenes, especially any of the B&W ones throughout the season had really bad video noisy and compression ghosting (and no, this isn't something deliberate on the past of the show, trust me). I am a professional animator and video editor BTW.

OK, anyway moving on: I did get a capture as you can see. Right when Laura looks at her house, on the lower right wide window a figure fades into the room. It's fast and cuts to her then screaming, and then when we cut back to the house we can only see it for about 2-3 frames (not seconds, each second is made up of 30 frames). So I expect when a good Blu-Ray set comes out we'll be able to see this entity much better, but for now we have to work with what we have. Whatever the thing was, it's definitely creepy!

Obviously the final compression is done by the broadcaster. I assume you're in the US and watching on Showtime cable? I am in the UK and watching the Sky satellite broadcast, everything is in truly excellent order, despite some tricky content at times. I am very surprised to hear of errors with full black, usually I'd say that suggests a monitoring issue.

In the window you highlight, I have a clear view - the entity is just a bookcase. Nothing fades in or out (except when the lights change).

I finally framed the split secondo with the flash, in the end scene. I think you can see the white teeth (previously seen inside Sarah Palmers' head) covering all the 3 little windows up the door. Judy's smile.

Judy's face is in the left dark room.

Well something there, but I'm not sure if that's the Experiment or not. .  .

Regardless, Laura's scream is probably similar to the Ep 17, FWWM: we can't see what she's screaming about because it's not there . . . yet

Maybe it's just a sock puppet, lol.

We'll probably never know.

Doesn't really matter though. Clearly the house is harboring evil and is likely a portal for all kinds of nasties.
