He's director, and actor, and writer and poet

He's made some strange things

But I know one thing

Each time we make some sense and get with the pace

He sticks a great big weirdo ending right up in our face

I said that's Lynch, and I can't deny it

Some people said "You may as well quit" but my heart wouldn't buy it

If I thought it wasn't worth one try

I'd just switch off my old tv and cry
