All you haters and sceptics of tonight's final installment, I'd love to hear how you felt and reacted when you first viewed the finale of season 2.

Disappointed in S2 but understanding because I don't think the show had been cancelled yet.  So didn't totally blame lynch.  I posted last week how I hoped Lynch viewed these 18 hours as a chance to finish the story and not leave us with another last second cliffhanger knowing this may be it and there may not be an opportunity to explain further.  This time I'm disappointed in Lynch.  I've heard about his style and how this mirrors themes in his other works. If that's the case, it's even more disappointing because it sounds unoriginal and lazy on his part.

That question had already been answered in season 2. FWWM expanded the mythology as well as the Blue Rose cases. But, the majority of it was an investigation into Laura Palmer's life and the absolute hellish misery she endured. It provided back story to the mystery that was Laura Palmer. It had a "happy" ending though, I'll extend that to you.
