Okay so, if we're to believe that some element of Judy is what led to her darkness behind the face deal, then how do we treat sarahs freakout when Dale takes Laura off her FWWM timeline? maybe we could interpret it as the Judy entities frustrations, that despite the murky place Dale and Laura are left in at the end of 18, their rewriting of events was indeed frustrating for Judy, to have undone all the pain of the original series?
If we grant you're thinking as true, then yes: all the pain of the original seasons as well as the 25 years in between and TPTR up until part 17. Presumably, she also lost Bob and Mr C in the process. That's a hefty dose of garmonbozia production. It's a plausible idea.
I think of it in terms of the surface, grieving mother aspect. We've seen Sarah decline, she's reached the end of her rope, she's had all the suffering anyone can take and she's finally lost. When she turns on Laura, it's the end for Sarah, and there's no home for Laura to return to.

I like this idea a lot!
