This is important.
I can feel it.
Yes?
When Naido gets coops attention at the station he gets frozen in that second , we see him as an overlay from that on in the background still frozen . When she disappears and becomes "diane" look at the stuff going on in the Red Room, thats the "Judy" Black mike is trying not to watch when the tuples becomes golden orbs. So Judy (naido) Freezes the "Real Coop" then from that moment it is not the same cooper. Groovy . yes . if u rematch that scene when Naido turns into Diane and suddenly Diane and Coop are like Soulmates ,, no way.. Real Cooper has other women on mind 😉
And it is very unlikely "Diane" was by the white lodge "there are men looking for her" for Diane ? really... it is judy
OK- so you have some interesting ideas here. I was trying to get to what was going on with the superimposed Cooper face too.
However: "And it is very unlikely "Diane" was by the white lodge "there are men looking for her" for Diane ? really... it is judy"
Could you clarify the above? Who said there are men looking for her (Diane) and when? and in what context?
Not sure the argument Coop and Diane are not soulmates holds up though- or even matters. For one thing, Cooper's had 25 years to get his head on straight, right? That's a lot of time to think things through, atone for mistakes, whatever. The look he gave her was both of relief and deep recognition, like: "OK, you were the one all along."
If that was his inclination and this was really Judy and not Diane, it'd be the perfect way to drag him right back into whatever purgatory Judy wanted him to be in.
sorry hadn't slept well and was just typing without thinking so might been weird.
Andy said after being at fireman that she is IMPORTANT (diane seems not so important to me) ,, and that men will come for her..
Seems more likely judy or mother is what all are coming for or Laura,, not many else..
And after she turns into Diane coops seems not the same and weird happy to see her,, something is wrong there..
OK- so you have some interesting ideas here. I was trying to get to what was going on with the superimposed Cooper face too.
I have a theory worked out for this... See if this makes sense:
I know there's a lot of back and forth on just how much, if any, of the finale was dreamt or lends to Twin Peaks being a dream or etc etc etc, but I think there are important timing clues in Cooper's superimposed face appearing that give a little credence to this particular scene truly being a dream or fantasy.
Our heroic battle against evil goes as planned, BOB is ?obliterated?, and Cooper gets the hotel key from Truman. Cooper steps to the back of the room with a satisfied smile on his face and surveys the room before seeing Naido for the first time. Watch again how he turns to Naido and studies her, startled and confused, for several seconds. When he turns away from her, he is no longer satisfied Coop from seconds before; he appears to be disappointed, and this is when his superimposed face fades into the screen. Seeing Naido has made him aware of the fantasy in some way, and he's now consciously observing the dream he's in, as symbolized by his superimposed face. The image stays on screen while (almost) everyone he's saved and touched in this season watches him from the doorway.
Coop and Naido touch hands, Naido becomes Diane, they kiss, and Superimposed Coop fades off of the screen as he gets lost in their embrace, forgetting in that moment that this isn't real. Diane directs Coop's attention to the wall behind him; Coop turns and sees the clock glitching out, and the superimposed image instantly returns, the clock being a reminder of the fantasy world. Superimposed Coop states: "We live inside a dream." Room fades to black, superimposed image stays on screen until we see the boiler room door.
Just a thought!

What was that odd burnt flesh ring object floating in the Lodge with Diane's face showing in one half of it? It reminded me of the Jade Ring.
reminded me of that thing mike hides his face from seeing in the red room when tuples become golden orbs
