Perfection.
Sigh indeed.
Coop didn't even get that much (or any) sympathy, this time. :-/ The "giant" was so interactive with him in the first two seasons. As if man is serving God only to be abandoned by his Lord. Was it Moses or Aaron who was banished from the Promised Land for not following God's directions and tapping water from stone with his staff? What did Coop do wrong?
(It was Moses)
I know I'm not as astute on this subject as I should be but, the Giant (S2) and The Fireman were possibly not even the same character, literally and metaphysically? Their relationship to Cooper was so...my understanding of their relationship to Cooper was so confused.
I am so confused.

The "giant" even went so far as to communicate with Coop through the old GN waiter in the second season. The impulse was to prevent the death of Maddie (or anyone else? Laura didn't seem as important to the giant in the first seasons as in the third), but that failed miserably. The man in the smiling bag (Renault), without chemicals he points (MIKE), the owls are not what they seem (which drew Briggs in). "You forgot something." Maybe it isn't the same entity. Maybe you're right. Or maybe the giant was a lesser entity.
