Cooper prevents Laura's murder....BUT, isn't Bob still in Leland?
Would he not be there to rape her the next night, and night after.
all this prevents is Bob from entering Mr C.
Bob could have killed Laura on any subsequent night & the FED's would still be called in.
unless I'm missing something...?
Well since Cooper took Laura from oryginal timeline. There is no Laura, she doesn't exist there. Pete is on his way to fishing 🙂 So there isn't murder of Laura Palmer, just she is gone.
she was there...she existed as we saw the FWWM scene of James' & her...then it split when Cooper came....so that day and days prior all occurred...she'd been raped by Leland/Bob for years at that point....and all Cooper did was prevent her murder on that evening....I get that if Laura is removed from the timeline Leland/Bob won't rape her anymore, but Bob still exists in Leland and can do all the bad he likes (love Bob)
I think you belive that when Cooper appeared, he split everything into two timelines ?
It is only your theory. But you must be consistent, if you belive in two timelines. Then in old one nothing changed, Laura is still killed and Cooper don't prevent anything. So I don't understand your thread. In one timeline which u think was split nothing changed, in new one Cooper took Laura somewhere into woods, and then she is gone. It doesn't mean she come back to home, to parents, it looks like she is took away same way as in Black Lodge. When she scream and something pulls her away. So in Twin Peaks there is no Laura Palmer, something got her to lodge or other dimension or whatever.
But there is another theory that there is one timeline, all is happening same time. There is no past or future, so when he changed that, there is no second timeline. He changed everything. It is like in butterfly effect movie. When you changed one little thing...everything collapse and change. So Bob is alive, because he erased this fight to him with glove too.
