 I'm seeing the theory floating around that we've been wrong this whole time.  It was never Laura in the lodge, it was Carrie Paige.  That would explain her saying that she's not Laura. So the infamous whisper might be "I'm Carrie, not Laura".

But, wasn't it later revealed that this was when she said "My father killed me"?  Meaning that this is (at least some version of) Laura.

Maybe Carrie is the arms/mfap's cousin.
