Sorry if this was posted already but it appears she just killed any relationship she had with Lynch if this article is legit:

It's legit. I heard she was posting this stuff on Facebook during a live podcast just after the finale, so I checked her page and it was definitely there.
People on the podcast and live chat thought she was mad because so many performers got minutes upon minutes onstage at the Road House while she, the quintessential Twin Peaks artist, got a short clip with the credits over it (when she probably spent hours doing multiple takes on a whole song). I can see being miffed, but I think the viewers were just tickled to see her on Twin Peaks again. She certainly didn't go unnoticed and I'm sure she'll get a boost out of it. Probably would've been better to not spout off and keep things positive, but c'est la vie...
Right, this feels way more like an angry response that might be softened at some point. Then again, a lot can happen in 25 years...
At the end of episode 17, I was glad to see finally her in the Return.
She's first mixed with the woods background, 15 seconds really alone on the screen and the final credits come so quickly...I was thinking "That's all ?"

Amusing. Especially when taken in context of the people that didn't return for Season 3. I wonder if you might hear something from other who played characters from the original series who came back for season 3. Virtually everyone in the town of Twin Peaks, outside of those in the Sheriff's office and the Log Lady, are really just window dressing with no real impact on the story. Even some new actors, like Ashley Judd as Beverly, are pointless and seem a complete waste.
With such an ungrateful mentality, no wonder her career has been very uninteresting after her Lynch/Badalamenti collaboration.
She should probably work on a duet with Michael J. Anderson 🙂
Didn't they go through all this with her before, or am I remembering my doppelganger's memory?

I think they did indeed
This girl's career would've been nothing without Lynch. I barely remembered her until I re-watched the 90's series recently.
What a diva...
Artists.
SMDH
🙂
I can understand her pain if she watched all those episodes seeing Eddie Vedder, Nine Inch Nails ....etc performing complete songs. She was probably thinking she was getting a whole song as well and then what she got in comparison felt ripped off.
Might have had her fam and friends sitting there watching and her mouth dropped open on her 15 second clip imposed on woods! Would have loved to be in that room to see that kodak moment! But you dont bad mouth the entire series and who helped your career because of it.
This is at least the second falling out she has had with him. And again, its all in her head.
I feel a bit sorry for her because she may be dealing with a mental illness of some sort. Perhaps bipolar disorder?

She shouldn't complain, she had it better than the Twin Peaks sign 🙂
Sounds like Julee Cruise and David Lynch have a tough time seeing eye to eye. I got that impression from her interviews on the original box set. Sounds like she needed a lot of time to get over their creative differences and appreciate the positive side of that experience.
Shortsighted of her. The song had impact at the point, deep impact. And she must be sucking in the royalty money given the amount of time the theme "by Julee Cruise" plays on every episode.
