Jerry NEEDS to have his OWN series.
HOW COME NOBODY'S TALKING ABOUT THE FACT THAT JERRY RAN ALL THE WAY TO WYOMING.
Cute, but nope. To get from TP to the Montana/Idaho state line is more like 60 miles. Still a good distance. But not 900+.
Jerry's impossible travel is probably the most conventional mystery of the finale.
Naked. Just like Naido.

Lol, that's fair. I didn't have time to get exact. Did they say if they picked him up on the state line or in a city?
ALSO, to be fair, we don't know what kind of crazy corkscrew path Jerry took. You think he walked in a straight line?
This little piggy went to market...

Maybe he managed to hitch a ride?
Okay, here's the updated map! I rewatched the finale finally, he was picked up by the Jackson Hole police. I started his journey near Snoqualmie (I know they filmed there, do they put Twin Peaks on the map at about the same point?) ended it at the Jackson Hole ski area, and made sure his walking route stayed pretty much in the forest.
That is still a long way to run. Especially when you can't trust your own foot.

Not quite. It's north of Spokane about 5-10 miles from the Canadian border, IIRC. At any rate, it appears that it'd be further away than Snoqualmie to Jackson Hole.
Among the stuff that wasn't explained by the finale, Jerry's journey is one thing I have absolutely no gripe about. It had a beginning and an end, and while I was not a fan of Jerry in Original TP (I had totally forgotten he existed when I rewatched it), now I see him having his own Hero's Journey. He was given some magical object (dope?), he went into the woods, he fought an enemy (his not-foot) and he came back to civilization; he won't be understood by his own community when he relates his journey, but it will turn out he brought back something priceless for the good of the community, maybe the knowledge of how Richard Horne was dispatched. I love Jerry Horne and, among many long detours we could have made without, his is one of those I enjoyed most.
I hope Joseph Campbell forgives me.
If it makes the OP feel better, I actually looked it up a couple hours right after I watched the Jackson Hole phone call scene (since I was streaming it, I simply paused the episode.) It just didn't make sense to me, even going through a straight line there's no way he could have reach JH so fast. I put the starting point as Metaline Falls, which is approx. where TP is located according to the pilot episode.

(Sorry, French version of Google Maps.)
Interestingly, this might be a hint that Richard's death scene didn't happen at the coordinates we had. I mean, maybe the 'right' coordinates are the ones to Jack Rabbit's Palace, and the 'wrong' ones (given by 2 of the 3) were on the way to Wyoming, close to the Farm (which would be further North.)
Then again... The coordinates he was looking for were Jack Rabbit's..? I thought he wanted to get away from lodge business as much as possible... Another plotline that makes no sense.

I think Mr C was tricked into entering the White Lodge. The Fireman placed him right where he needed to be for annihilation/return to the Red Room and Mike.
