I am sorry if someone has already suggested this and I've missed it.

In FWWM when he says:

"Well now. I'm not gonna talk about Judy; in fact, we're not gonna talk about Judy at all, we're gonna keep her out of it!"

What if that that is Jefffies responding to one one the following interactions:

Mr C asking Jeffries about Judy in season 3.

Cooper asking Jeffries about Judy in season 3.

Given that Jeffries seems to be out of phase with time, is it not possible that the "I'm not going to talk about Judy" is in direct response to conversations had with Coop or Mr C in season 3?

If it's already been theorised and covered extensively I apologize! But I wonder what would happen if all script between Jeffries and other people (including maybe the "fake Jeffries" phone call) were mixed and matched to see how his conversations work in these different contexts.

Just a thought.

Interesting. But he does talk about Judy in those scenes with Cooper in s3, so I'm not sure

Yes, that did cross my mind. But I wondered if certain conversations would fit better with other interactions. I appreciate it's a long shot 😀

That entire conversation with Jeffries is pretty odd.     Both appearances I mean,  both in the film and season three.      In season three it almost sounds like Jeffries is talking to entirely different people from sentence to sentence.
