Coop in the end saying to Cole and the rest " i hope i will see all of you again"... I HOPE THAT TOO COOP!!! (season 4 please)
This scene seemed like a direct reference to when Dorothy leaves Oz in the wizard of Oz. I'd be curious to see some visual comparisons similar to the one someone Did with Dale coming out of his Coma. Let's see... if Dale is Dorothy... Andy is clearly the Scarecrow, maybe Hawk could be the Tin Man, Lucy the Cowardly Lion, Gordon the wizard, and Bad Coop is the wicked witch of the West (Mrs. Chalfont being the other wicked witch)?
Potentially also is a hopeful message from Lynch and Frost about returning to these characters.

Absolutely a coded message to the cosmos.
Very Wizard of Oz. The lodge entities were kind of like the witches too right? There were good ones and bad ones... this bad one (Bob) was killed by something mundane that had great power (a green gardening glove instead of a bucket of water.) Then the wizard, or the man behind the curtain (Phillips Jeffries) tries to send our hero back to the beginning but things go awry and the hot air balloon leaves them stranded....
The dreamer hopes to see the people he dreamed about again in another dream.
he wants everyone to make it there again without getting killed or worse when he is altering future / timelines ..

This is how I took it, but can see it being interpreted many was.

Have you messaged Showtime to ask for another season?
Have you messaged Showtime to ask for another season?
It would be better to mass unsubscribe from Showtime. I think there's anyway something coming, maybe not a season 4, but a two-three-hour movie or new missing pieces.

Better to ask them nicely than threaten to yank the subscription away.
The more I think of it, I don't know how the hell they gonna pull off another season. Story wise it seems almost impossible. What would we be returning to? What would the new season be about? I mean, everything has changed now, hasn't it? Nothing ever happened. Laura didn't die, etc. So therefore all the other things that followed probably never happened too, including all the things in The Return. Or does the old version of Twin Peaks as we know, where Laura did get murdered, still exists in another timeline/dimension? But that would be just too complexed for me to return to.
Let's hope we will be allowed to enter another Laura's dream then? 🙂

I won't call it a threat. After all they're disapponted with the poor rates but happy about the number of new subscriptions. Business is business.
Or, Cooper was tricked once again, just like he was when he replaced Dougie. Atleast that was the one armed man said he was. And season 4 will be about his struggle to get back to the real World. And, as some of you already has discussed, I too don't think it was the real Cooper we saw in episode 8, even though he said he was the real deal. He was lying, and Diane eventually felt something was wrong.
So where is the real Cooper now? Trapped inside the Black Lodge again? That could be a possible follow up for season 4.
Or maybe a possible season 4 will be about the last missing page of Laura Palmers diary and what information it contains. Maybe it has something to do with what we saw in the last episode. Hmm...
