Anyone else in mind of Hitchcock's "Vertigo"? I don't want to spoil it if you haven't seen it, but it was a major influence on TP (Laura's cousin being named "Madeleine," blonde vs. brunette realities) and it is about doubling/attempting to repeat time to avoid a tragic ending. And (not really a spoiler) it also ends with a scream. Whaddaya think?
