Here is somewhat of a pattern that I think may be important.

The three times we hear Laura scream that horrific scream, Cooper ends up back in the lodge. Well, the first time, he's still in the lodge. The second time is much later when Coop is walking Laura through the woods. When she vanishes, we hear the scream. The very next scene of Coop, he's back in the lodge. We don't ever see Coop walk to a portal (one of the many that exist now?) or get sucked in through some electricity. The final time it happens, is the very end when she screams in front of the Palmer/Chalfont house. It's almost like the scream is resetting something. The last shot is of Coop , back in the lodge, with Laura whispering in his ear with credits rolling. Yes, it could be that these scenes are not shown in a linear, chronological order. But I just didn't see it that way. It could be that this is a stylistic choice in editing, but it just doesn't tie in with the rest of the episodes, when it took three episodes for a character to move from one room to the next.

I don't know, I'm so fucking confused. I want my mind back.

Despite all the confusion/frustration, I miss TP like crazy 🙁

No, you aren't crazy. I can see what you are saying.  Laura does do a lot of screaming in Fire Walk With me too though. But I can see the idea the scream, being followed by a trip back to the Red Room. I think the 1st scream in season 3, and her flying away, could be an indicator she is ripped from history later when Cooper leads her away from  her murder. The same way her body disappears. The final scream in part 18 may not be what  sends them back to the Red Room. It may just be she is whisked away again and the Laura whispering in his ear is the doppelganger or cousin of the ARM or whatever she is we saw earlier.

Well Laura being an anagram of aural is probably no coincidence then.
