I agree.  BRING IT ON!

What do you think an "unleashed Mark Frost" series would look like, or be about, or be called?

I could see Frost wanting to tell a more conventional story about the world of Twin Peaks today and it's inhabitants. The power players, he underworld, the drama and lots of secrets. So many original cast members out there, so much potential to flesh out a "next generation." I would love to see Sheriff Bobby Briggs! Great character and perfect age to be sheriff and a lead character.

And then there is the supernatural element- whatever the consequences of parts 17 &18, somehow I doubt it would negate all of the otherworldly influences going back centuries. And then there is the FBI and Blue Rose Task Force. Bring on Tammy Preston! How fascinating her beautiful yet alien presence would be chewing up the scenery in Twin Peaks! And the Blue Rose Task Force's newest forensics expert- freshly recruited Constance Talbot! Because why not?

Have you ever read any of his books?

Nope. Just recognize his television work- mainly Hill Street Blues.

Strange collection of books...historical stuff, baseball stuff, TSHOTP, and then.....The Paladin Prophecy trilogy which is the one that makes the most sense to me.  Worth a quick read.

Twin Peaks would not be "Twin Peaks" without David Lynch.  Fans, like myself, would not accept anything less.  Neither would David Lynch.

Lol, it has already happened once upon a time.

Or has it.  Is it future or is it past?

I will make it a point to do so. I did read his "Secret History Of Twin Peaks" and really got a lot out of it. Love the mixture of history and fantasy.

I respect your opinion and I like everything Lynch, but Twin Peaks is/was a collaborative effort. Then again, I enjoy James Bond novels decades after Ian Flemming's passing..

Very good comparison. I concur.
