'What year is it?', asks Cooper. He is afraid that he has set the arrival just a bit too late. Sarah has already left/sold the house. Probably to be taken away to an alcohol rehab center. Cooper's question ignites fear in Laura. This and the remembrance of Leland-possessed-by-BOB makes her scream. Love opens the White Lodge, fear opens the Black Lodge.

Carrie Page (page-from-a-diary?) is beckoned -again- by the forces who live above the convenience store, Mrs. Tremond once gave Laura the painting with the Black Lodge entrance (FWWM). And Mrs. Tremond and her grandson lived in a trailer near Teresa Banks. Carl Rodd told Cooper the owners of the trailer that made Chet Desmond dissappear (owl cave symbol ring) were called the Chalfonts. Laura has probably never heard about 'Chalfonts'; perhaps she does not even know the old lady is called Tremond.

To be continued

Not any intention of discrediting your theory, but I would be instilled with fear if I just left a dead dude on my couch, travelled more than half way across the country with a guy who claims to be the FBI even with a silly badge, seems to kind of know what he's talking about, takes me to a house inhabited by people he doesn't know or think should be there, then asks me what year it is.

Loved those looks that Carrie kept giving Cooper.
