Naido provides an intermediary to the Red Room where a partially formed cocoon (stone?) holding something like Diane emerges. (Which is odd because Diane is never taken to the Red Room). So why is there such a strong implication that Diane is connected to the Red Room???

Is there an implication that she is connected to the red/waiting room? Or is she just a representation of all those places?
