I think i have seen the most that DL has produced, but nothing nearby this bad filmingproduction in TP Return, technology from the 90`s.
Even "Rabbits" is better production than this.
I dont know if this serie is a low-budget, but many of these scenes (i example sara and laura takes off their face) makes this twinpeaks a lower range than the previos TP.
The story itself is ok , or ok enough.
Only a season 4 can save this, but i assume that will not happen.
Lynch is a fucking surrealist. I think he deliberately uses jarring and weird visual effects to create a certain feel. Personally, I love it.
I'd watch BOB as a strange sphere thing over Hollywood's glossy CGI anyday.
It's like choosing to watch a David Firth cartoon over Disney. Or South Park back in the day. The stylistic animation gives it charm.
Sure, but back in twin peaks early 90*s, they managed to to make a wood-face out of the young asian lady at the mills, even that was better performance then this.
It's not meant to look realistic or 'good'. I think you're missing the point. I still think it looks less fake than, say, Iron Man's suit from The Avengers.
Maybe i am missing the point, but for me this TP did not have the overall-quality as it had last time.
I think the scene was a satire on modern Hollywood blockbusters, which Lynch sorta said his opinion about before
