I think that would be something Lynch would do.  I was wondering if we could tell based on comparing black & white tonalities, but I really don't know how to do that.  We would have to know for sure that something in that image was blue before it was converted into black & white in order to even try to make a comparison. 

I put it through an online converter. Don't know how accurate these things are. 

If it is accurate, they don't look blue. 

Can't really tell what color that should be.

I always just thought it was random knee dimples.

It's not the behind the knee markings carried by Margaret Lanterman and Carl Rod?

Could wearing calipers leave those markings?

You know what is really creepy about this pic?  It's how her right hand coming around the teddy bear is still black and white.  It's like she has zombie hand.
