Twin peaks the return Ending Explained

It all kind of makes sense now. Many of the things we saw in the show can be explained as a manifestation in a dream world.

Yeah but this raises the possibility on parallel dreams, dream layers, lucid dreaming with all the dream guide stuff and everything. Next level lynching.

Yes this is a good explanation or the review that is in Indie Wire provided a good explanation as well. Both these explanations seem plausible.
