As this brilliant and glorious film experience comes to a close, I just wanted to share my thoughts on a possible scenario in the finale. Am I wrong to think that Cooper may have to save Audrey and Diane, which is why Richard and Linda (their children) are mentioned in the beginning? Also two birds with one stone could refer to saving both Audrey and Diane at once.
Also, could Candie represent Marilyn Monroe? She reminds me of her and Monroe's character in Some Like it Hot was named Sugar Cane. I think Twin Peaks was inspired by her death and Cooper was interested in the case.
