Heard about catolics theory ? God created man in his own image. We see big Judy and her eggs. So even this box experiment can summon a smaller copy from egg. Strongly disagree. Even allowing for an age difference, I don't see any similarity. Grace Zabriskie has reddish hair and blue grey eyes. Ms Faircrest has much darker hair and dark eyes.

I thoughts about all of this. I have new point of view. For someone on Earth, Judy can be same evil as Devil. So all this eggs can have same common name. There isn't any point to give them different names. Bob is Bob, because as we see, he is the only one there. Rest is just similiar eggs. Same as with woodsmans, did they have different names ? No, we call them woodsmans, that all.

I agree. We've been arguing about this for weeks, but we're given no reason or evidence to connect the girl with Sarah unless you're actively trying to connect dots from the girl to some other female in the TP universe. The location and age don't seem to line up properly.
Everything doesn't need to connect or be explained. One could say that's a defining feature of Lynch's work. In fact, maybe the right answer to the original question here is that it doesn't matter when it happened, just that she is.
The only evidence that I see is that when Sara removes her face a long pointy proboscis pops out which looks the same as the proboscis on the frogmoth...except larger.
But there were many eggs, maybe everyone living at the time was infected. If the frogmoths represent people being "infected" by the fear and anxiety of nuclear extermination then this theory might make sense. Not that I'm really convinced.
