Can someone please provide a reasonable explanation for Andy's behavior when Mr. C showed up? Because, right now, and at that moment, I'm thinking he's dumber than a box of rocks.
I mean, the Fireman showed Andy pretty much everything. The Experiment, Bob's entry into the world, the Woodsman, Naido and, most importantly, the two Coopers.
When Andy comes back with Naido in his arms, I'd assumed he'd remembered more than just what he said about Naido, but apparently not. Bad Cooper shows up and Andy is C-L-U-E-L-E-S-S. I was sighing in disbelief at that moment.
And, from what we've seen elsewhere, people seem to remember their meetings with the Fireman, so I've no idea why Andy doesn't.
Any thoughts?
Hmmm, I'm gonna have to go back and watch the Andy/Fireman scene again cuz I can't remember if the Fireman shows Andy that there are 2 separate and parallel Coopers.
I took it that he suddenly remembered and then went into the cell area to face the bad policeman (can't remember his name).
I get the impression that had he not done this, much worse things would have happened. For one, he wouldn't have stopped to gloat to Andy, and green glove guy wouldn't have hit him. He would've just escaped, with a gun, possibly shooting his way out.

This is what the Fireman shows Andy.
It looked like he did not remember at first but after Mr. C came inside and greeted Lucy, it looked like he did. I forget exactly how, but he indicates to Lucy that something's wrong. He continued to act happy when he offered C coffee and said he was going to get Hawk but that was an act.

Maybe Andy just thought Cooper got a make-over. 🙂
I mean, this IS Andy we're talking about.
BTW, those pictures are seriously creepy and skeletal looking.

Yeah, I couldn't tell if that was an act, or if he was sincere.
Regardless, I feel like he should have known the moment he clapped eyes on Mr. C that something was up.
The Fireman was probably face-palming at that moment.
Also, I don't remember seeing the scene where Andy positions Lucy (the bit he saw at the Fireman's). Was it in there somewhere?

I think the deal with Andy is that he's essentially his usual somewhat dopey good-natured self most of the time and barely remembers the Fireman, but at some point it clicks in and he recalls the Fireman experience like a hypnotic experience, or like he's even been programmed subliminally. Or perhaps he is even co-inhabited by the Fireman at this time.
It's a riddle why the fireman picked Andy, he's got the IQ of a fruit fly..
(i mean Andy, not the fireman) 😉

No, I take it that is what would have happened had he not spotted the bad policeman trying to escape.
My opinion is that he forgot / the memory slipped away.

It's Chad. How can you not remember The Chad?! 😉
Andy seems to possibly pick up on the problem at 2 different points:
- Asking Cooper about a cup of coffee
- Standing in the entrance area with that short blank pause
He has obviously got his super cape on by the time he tells Lucy "very important" , since he was indicating the incoming call was in fact very important.

Ah yes, I should remember. One of my favourite all time bands has a guitarist called Chad so I should have remembered!
That said, I'm awful with names. It took me five years at my last job to remember everyone's names, at which point it was time for me to move on to pastures new 😀
Chad, Chad Chad. Must remember Chad.
If you keep saying Chad if sounds like Chud.

Chad Chad, you're so bad
You're probably dead and we're so glad
Actually, Chad might be the lone survivor. What justice would that be when Chad wakes up, handcuffed to the jail cell, and nobody is left in existence. It's just Chad.....and of course "the Drunk." Happily ever after.
