So Jeffries shows cooper an 8 with some sort of ball rolling around it.
Jeffries's room at the motel is number 8
Freddie Sykes's cell number is 8
(edit: Norma's RR Diner has 7 franchises so that equals 8)
But then Cooper and Diane aka Richard and Linda go into Room 7
Also, an 8 turned on its side resembles an infinity sign ∞
Also Cooper's note to Gordon mentioned something about 10 being the number of completion. I was surprised by the significance of 8 and 10 here since 7 has been the recurring number.
Yes to all those. You have a working theory on how they all tie together?
Yeah exactly - with all the numerology throughout the series - I was surprised
Room 7 = Lucky 7 Insurance?
Maybe the numbers below 10 mean something is not complete
Did neither Coop or Diane aka Richard or Linda "complete" go to completion of their sexual activity? (not trying to be perverted - just looking to interpret)

If only I did
235 =10
430 = 7
There are some recurring 7's (Lucky 7 insurance, Room 7 at the motel)
Sykes in cell #8 and Jeffries being in Room #8 and there being 1 original RR Diner and 7 franchises (that equals 8) - I don't know what else
The 8 made me think of a Möbius strip indeed.
I considered it was the wheel of time in that scene, with Jeffries having the keys to send anyone to a certain date, by moving a dot across the strip until it reaches the desired date.
Bad theory I had and no longer have: 8 is the number of happiness for Chinese (Tibetan? Lol.) Yeah, Möbius it is.
Lt. Worf said it best:
Let's not forget the number 6 on the power pole outside Carrie's.
