Ok, back on track. Even if not the way some of us would want the series to end, I think we can all agree it was AMAZEBALLS.

So much payoff. These past two episodes in particular have just been stunning.

Seriously can you not say anything positive?

Me?

Read my reactions to the last several episodes.

Not being satisfied with a half added ending (which tonights would have been) isn't negative.

Did you mean to sad half-addled?

Makes more sense than half-assed?

Half assed makes sense bc that's whay this would have been had the season ended tonight on that episode.

Hence the ?

Ha! Hell yeah that was such a triumphant moment. "You are awake." "100%." "Finally."

Finally!!

I think you've made your point by now, though.

My comment wasnot intended to be taken literally, but rather as ampn expression of my deep satisfaction in tonight's episode! Of course I want more-  but no contrived attempt to wrap up all of this complexity. When has that ever been satisfying?

I think tonight was a great payoff for (most of) our patience with Dougie.

On a slightly different note, now we have Cooper back so we can talk about that side of the story. If you saw the leaked TMZ pictures from filming, who do you think that it is with him?

Just to hear Dale back speaking quickly with the purest logic and conviction as he woke up was just out of this world.

And I also believe the hair strands was to create a new , better Dougie for Janey-e and sonny jim.

Shame it all happened so late..... now the show is almost over 🙁

But man, episode 16 was a killer!

Oh yes - the hair strands.  I assume that's for his replacement: whether you're for the DNA from the follicle to generate a clone or the old witches' version of hair or nail clippings - I'd assume that's what they're for.

I am over the moon about this episode.  I haven't screamed that much at my tv in a while.  How about when you finally saw Audrey WALK IN to the roadhouse??  Did anyone think she'd ever get there?  She still didn't have her coat on though. XD

How delightfully sadistic of them to start off with Dougie in the hospital, which was exactly what everyone was worried would happen after the last episode?  They know how to misdirect and tease better than anyone making television or film right now.

I am sad for everyone who checked out earlier during the series.  This is the best thing on television right now.

Kind of amazing that we got so much from one episode and still have so much left to answer:

- Who is Linda?

- Remember 4-3-0?

- Where is Laura?

- Where is Bob?

- Frog Moths?

- Mother/Experiment?

- Judy?

- How's Annie?

- Naido and the jailhouse gang

- The Briggs family goings on

- Sarah's probiscus

I watched the previous 15 episodes being torn mostly between bewilderment and boredom (I'm one of those people who watch S03 because they loved the old series, not because they are David Lynch fans), and episode 16 was such a huge reward for sticking with the season! I loved EVERY SECOND of it!

And I know just what to do until the finale: I'll just re-watch this episode every day until it 🙂
