any reason we purposefully didn't see the guy's face who barged into the Roadhouse saying "Monique ! That's my wife" and then punching the guy.   Definitely an older guy from the looks of his hair.

Yes, there's a reason.

Its immaterial. Audrey created the "Roadhouse" construct in her head. It's easy to see that she would have gone a bit crazy after being, presumably, raped by Mr. C. Diane did.

The fight and "Audrey's Song" were just plot points to get us to her independent storyline. Almost as if HER story is parallel to Cooper's.

Agreed ... that's why I think Audrey "woke up" when DougieCoop woke up ... when he stuck the fork in the outlet.  Hence the electricity sounds we heard with Audrey tonite?

My theory is she "woke up" when Richard was electrocuted - also crackling sounds aplenty

Is it just me or did the guy who ran into the Roadhouse at the very end look like Big Ed?

I kind of thought so BUT if that was all in Audrey's mind I guess it doesn't make much difference ???? I'm so confused

I think that Audrey's real "Twin Peaks" utility, through 27yrs+, is going to manifest next week.

I contend Mr. C. raped her and begat a douchenozzle son. She withdrew into dreamworld. Now that she's aware, I'm hoping she'll help Cooper.

Well, at least it can be said he finished what he started.

Well, if Mr. C raped Diane and took her to the convenience store, it would stand to reason he did the same to Audrey.  Perhaps her soul lives out this tortured existence, roadhouse dancing while her cartoonish husband watches from afar, sipping martinis.
