Around the dinner table, the conversation was lively. Thank you but for now, the forum has been archived.
I predict that Candie will be shown to be Linda and the daughter of Diane and Mr C and somehow she appears on that stone that Richard was on in Twin Peaks.
I think the Frog Moth girl will be shown to be Judy. I'm thinking black and white image falling asleep. Wizard of Oz. Dreaming.
I think Julee Cruise will sing Falling for the closing credits of part 18.
The sheriff's department make their next journey to the meeting place.
Mr C and Dale Cooper eventually meet.
1. Chet Desmond. Something.
2. No one talks about Judy.
3. The final Parts will be as fast as the others were slow, a lightning storm of symbolic and narrative (dis)connections and short circuits, as always adding more questions than answers.
4. Laura tears the thread that connects the Convenience Store and Twin Peaks.
Mr. C will bring his Ice Dragon into the fray...
Mr. C will bring his Ice Dragon into the fray...
1. something involving a turquoise glove
2. something involving golden shovel
3. something involving either Annie, Linda, Judy, or Laura (or possibly all 4).
4. Dale Cooper dies
I wonder if Freddie and his green gardening glove has a "destiny" with Mr. C. later on? It seems odd that the Fireman would tell him to come to TP where he would fulfill his destiny and it doesn't look like that would be knocking two drunks out on the dance floor with James.
I have a crazy sounding prediction. We find out in the end that Gordon Cole was always the doppelganger/tupla...
That would be something. I like the sound of that.
I'm pleased to see my predictions regarding the Mitchums - and their means of getting there - and Coop's reaction to his new family were right.
I was hopelessly wrong about how he'd wake up but hey, you take what you can get. It's also for the best that Janey-E and Sonny Jim stay away from Twin Peaks, hindsight being the wonderful thing that it can be.
I had a similar theory (from my post above):
"After tonight's developments, I find myself wondering if in the finale Cole could reveal that Cooper is his tulpa.
Cole's apparent connection to Cooper across the miles as Coop was waking up- and his prescience in knowing that Diane was at the door, among other things - make me wonder if long ago (maybr early in the Blue Rose days?) he learned those skills.
This also kind of opens up the possibility of a worldview where "kindred spirits" may actually be related on a deeper level – maybe conjured from the same source – orgrown from the same "seeds" "
I interpreted Cole's knowledge of Diane's whereabouts being due to them tracking her movements via all that tech gear, plus, having intercepted her calls and messages, could work out she'd want to talk, then took an educated guess at how long it would be for her to get to the room.
And, Cole's probably got some kind of superduper sonar doohickey fitted in his deaf aid, too.

1 and 2 are both my hopes and my fears.
By the way, was Chet's fate ever explained? Where did he end up after he reached out for the ring and disappeared and what happened to him wherever he disappeared to (the Lodge, seemingly)?
I find it curious that Gordon et al pay so little attention to him throughout S03, but I might have missed something.
Do you think that may be why Jeffries makes the statement when he runs into the Philly office during the Firewalk/Dream bit, points at Coop, and says "Who do you think that/this is there?", to Cole. Since that part it's got me wondering if Coop does play some larger role in the Blue Rose cases.
When Coop returns to Janey-E and Sonny-Jim, will he officially take the name Dougie Jones? Or will they become Coopers? Will he still work for the Bureau or will he want a quiter, simpler life working for Lucky 7 Insurance?
Coop's not returning to Vegas. He asked Mike to manufacture another Dougie based upon him rather than Mr C.
Another thought concerning what we might see in the next two episodes: how about the White Lodge?
