I've been thinking about this character.  Is she the billionaire who finances the glass box, or the moth frog girl, or Judy, or Lois Duffy.  Is she none or all of them?  Is she a red herring?

It doesn't get any redder.

Definitely seems connected to the glass box in New York.

As mentioned before, the conversation about Mrs. Houseman at the Great Northern is the first real dialogue we can pinpoint as happening in Twin Peaks in the series; although I guess we could get hyper technical and say that Jacoby greeting the guy who delivered a new shipment of shovels to him involved the first words spoken in TP this series;  but the first nugget of substance involves:

- Mrs. Houseman

- A skunk in her room that was really on the other side of the hotel

- She wants a refund for a full week's stay

- Ben won't do that, and will only refund 2 nights, because her "New York friends keep the spa running".

And this comes right after we learn of an anonymous NY billionaire who was responsible for the glass box in which we've seen both the experiment and Cooper.  And which whoever called Mr. C and claimed to be Jeffries seems to have referenced when they discussed "missing you in New York".

So...yeah, I'm thinking we'll either meet this character or learn something interesting about her in the finale here.

I think she and/or her party are important too, but I can't figure out a good theory with more supporting evidence (hints).  I think it's likely to be revealed as a shocker since we're closing in on the finale.

Well, they are at the Great Northern, where there is a strange humming, and we've seen James go into the boiler room where, I don't know, something is going on, possibly behind a little door.   And a spa, in essence, would involve steam/boiling water somewhere right?  In addition to massages and mani/pedis.   Mrs. Houseman's friends frequent this spa and "keep it running".  And Jeffries is ethereal steam trapped inside another hotel room in a different hotel.

So all of it means....I don't know.

But, if we consider the fact, that there already were people earlier in the series, who heard that noise ( talking about homie Pete ), and if we recall that one line from Duncan Todd ( who loooks to be rich enough to run the spa ) " she has the job", we pretty much still don't know anything.

There is only one possible answer.

Mr. C will show up at the Great Northern wearing an ill-fitting dress and passing himself off as the fictional "Mrs. Houseman".

He'll look YREV homely, and his awkwardness will give him away immediately!

What did the Fireman say in part 1?

"It is in our HOUSE now."

Mrs. HOUSEman therefore must be the Mother/ The Experiment.

No, I do not believe that little theory at all, I am just being part of the mad speculation. I will be shocked (SHOCKED, I tell you!) if fMrs. Houseman has anything to do with anything.  But what has this experience been if not shocking.

Is it...electricity?
