Around the dinner table, the conversation was lively. Thank you but for now, the forum has been archived.
All his support crew are dead, or otherwise unable to help out. Richard, Diane, Chantal and Hutch all totalled in this episode. Ike the Spike in chokey. Not that he needs them, of course.
Not even certain if Bob is still on board.
Sucks to be Mr C.
Poor Mr. C. All alone. Whatever will he do?
Try to pass himself off as the real Coop.
Won't it be a real laugh if he wins? I mean, really, clearly and unambiguously wins.
Hee and hee.
I think I'm actually ready for that. It almost seems inevitable.
He didn't need all those schmucks anyway. They clearly could not live up to their job descriptions.

A somewhat downbeat ending, though.
Speaking of which, a short story, "Upon The Dull Earth" by Philip K Dick, is rather gloomy.
Not a huge Dick fan.
Phillip K Dick that is. 🙂

Agree. And, Good Coop is getting a nice team together in the meantime.
After reading a lot of your posts, i find I agree with you on a lot.
Big Bowie fan myself...big isn't even a good description of my love for the man. Almost used King Dice as my user name.
And to top it off you just name checked my favorite author, Phil Dick.
Bowie, Dick, and Lynch are my holy triumvirate of art.
I loved "Counter-Clock World" (among many other of his novels and shorts). Haven't read "Upon the Dull Earth." Will check it out.

Heh. King Dice is the name of my band. Well, given my assumed name, it'd have to be, right?
There's some other guy using the name, an African dude, I believe. We've been around for much longer, though.
Philip K Dick is one of my favourites but not my all time favourite. Scottish guy, Iain M Banks was, IMO, the best ever SF writer. Sadly passed away in 2013.
Bowie... A major influence on my music, although my stuff sounds nothing like his.
Anyhow, back to topic...
What on earth does Coop have in mind for the Mitchum brothers? I guess they're useful in a firefight but so are the Sheriff's guys. I don't think guns are going to be too much use anyhow. Much as I like the idea of Coop having plenty of backup I can't think what actual use they will all be.
If we don't know, I'm likely to go out of my mind trying to figure it out.
It seems Mister C is ready to run it of luck. But as Brandy said, all bets are off.
If it's inconclusive, I hope they manage to wrap it up a damn sight quicker this time around. I reckon I'll have croaked in 25 years.
