The camera pans across the floor of the red room to the chair. We see a pair of men's shoes. We pan up slowly, past pants, jacket, and slowly, finally, to a face.

It is Paul.

Mike stands across from him, and says, "Turn me on, dead man".

Paul's head explodes, the seed floats out, Mike picks it up off the chair, pockets it, and walks away, humming You Know My Name, Look Up The Number.

Top it. Dare you. (-;

humming You Know My Name, Look Up The Number.

Can one actually hum that?  I just tried and it was painful and awful.  The only part I could hum is Paul's silky smooth crooner section.

The camera pulls away from the Roadhouse and dissolves to an old style animator's studio, where we see Bugs Bunny laughing to himself, saying "Hehehe!  Ain't I a stinker?"

It works better backwards. Ever try to hum Drive my Car? That doesn't work either- one note.

Somehow I think it will end  with James singing "Just you" backwards, with doppelganger Audrey dancing and laughing.

After failing to stop whatever event he was sent to prevent, Dale silently fades from existence, forced into a reincarnation cycle. He opens his eyes and finds himself in a cage. The camera pans out to reveal a name: Waldo.

"Ladies and Gentlemen, the Roadhouse is proud to present... Special Agent Philip Jeffries!"

...and holy sh*t!  It's Bowie!  The Dame grins and strides to the mic stand, the band strike up, and launch into ... The Laughing Gnome.

It will end with Julee Cruise singing Falling in the Roadhouse and all the cast dancing as the credits run similar to Inland Empire or it might end with a clip of Laura Palmer wrapped in plastic floating in the lake.  It could also end with Macca sing Travelling Light as the Fireman.

Yeah... I also think that It will end with Julee Cruise singing Falling in the Roadhouse.  But I see a return of the Fireman in the roadhouse during Cruise's set telling Cooper something.

On a wild note, I can sense the return of Laura Palmer at the end as well.... her real self somehow returning from the lodge when we find out it was her doppelganger that got killed by Leland/Bob.
