I was thinking two birds one stone may just be; two kids from one dopple-man? Too simple?
Tried to reply to a previous comment with the above statement but I can't see that it was quoted. It's not a random comment

Definitely not too simple and many in this forum are in agreement with you. It's particularly relevant now that Diane ('s tulpa) revealed that Mr C raped her, so . . . It's complicated.
Loving Belushi! Just look at his face! haha
I didn't think about it until now, but he's drinking Sarah's preferred cocktail of choice.

Coincidence.

Yes, Karen, I'm not trying to look for a deeper meaning here. Just drawing a connection is all.
Candy looked deeply worried about Dale here
Candy looks deeply "x" every time she's on screen. Haha.

Woah - 'cos Jim Belushi's going to go for something with a big chunk of greenery in it? I really don't think so! I think both Mitchums would be slice-of-lemon-and-that's-it drinkers!
Before the show started there was some promo clip showed the Mitchums ( we didn't know who they were then ) on a road in the TP area, maybe near the Sheriff's Dept.
Read about that, too, didn't see the pics/clips, heard the pic had the Mitchums & Cooper in the woods. I've been watching carefully all of their scenes and they never were in the woods (the closest was... their meeting in the desert!), so I'm guessing they'll at least get out of the plane and get him to a car and say their proper goodbyes.. Or they'll follow Coop into TP and probably settle there, once they notice how bad of a job the lone remaining Renault has been doing with local entertainment. I mean, One Eye Jack's is probably looking for some more competent ownership!
That'd be fun. Expected, but the best possible outcome for those great characters.
I still have hope that Candie is more important than just a slightly off piece of window dressing too. Also I remember all the bad stuff said about Belushi when we first saw the Mitchums, he ain't so bad now eh????
Candie was in the orphanage (one thinks). She COULD be Diane's daughter!
Yesiree!
I couldn't be happier that the Mitchum Bros and Candie are headed to Twin Peaks.
Still think she is "Annie". Because while we've talked about not talking about Judy, we haven't figured out how Annie is.
Can we just talk about how great it was that they asked for the full story and Belushi stops the story to get his Bloody Mary? And then he is so happy to have it. Loved it.
