Around the dinner table, the conversation was lively. Thank you but for now, the forum has been archived.
looks like the two Mitchum Brothers with their hearts of gold along with Candy may have an intrical part in the showdown between good and evil?
Candie is just so sweet. I love her; what a darling.
It's possible. I'm still holding out hope that there's more to Candie. Given that we still dont know which Cooper is driving to TP in the trailer, it appears that both will be driving there, so I don't think the Mitchums along with Candie & Co. will be traveling all the way to TP with Cooper. I'd like to be wrong though. Of course, they could travel there separately from Coop, or Mr C is dressed as Coop and Coop is taken to TP along with his army from Vegas in a limo (from Spokane). Is it next Sunday yet?
well Candie might be super important still, they r on the way to TP , and i bet she i going too so buckle up ..
I don't think Candie's a tulpa or a different person than she appears. I think she's just a sweet girl who loves the Mitchums because they generally take care of her--although she gets very annoyed with them and sometimes acts out on it.
They did say "we are going to Spokane" ... so I guess we will see who is on that plane next week ?

Yeah, she was one of the many things throughout this season that I thought were basically what they appeared to be.
I still have hope that Candie is more important than just a slightly off piece of window dressing too. Also I remember all the bad stuff said about Belushi when we first saw the Mitchums, he ain't so bad now eh????
Maybe she'll be the real Linda? In any case, I was very happy to see the girls and Mitchums back tonight. Frost/Lynch could have easily gotten Cooper to spokane without them, so I think this means they'll be important....
Well, even just seeing Cooper recognize their hearts of gold was something important. It was (along with his talk to Janey/Sonny) confirmation that he has "Dougie Cooper's" memories. He doesn't appear to have Mr. C's memories--or if he does, he is not bothered. This confirms (to me, at the moment) that doppelgänger are entirely different beings. It's not a Leland/Bob situation.

Candie was in the orphanage (one thinks). She COULD be Diane's daughter!

It would make for a wonderful contrast to what Richard turned out to be.

As Jesse posted above, maybe she is Linda and is Dianes daughter. Would tick the box for two birds, one stone as well
The way things are going, I suspect the Mitchums & Pink Ladies will blend into Twin Peaks without anyone noticing. In fact, they may declare the Roadhouse a bit strange...
I still find Jim Belushi a bit awkward, but definitely not as bad as at first - and at least the bizarre set up of the brothers & the pink ladies gives some reason for the whole lot to go en mass to Spokane!

Before the show started there was some promo clip showed the Mitchums ( we didn't know who they were then ) on a road in the TP area, maybe near the Sheriff's Dept.
The Pink Ladies: maybe they'll meet a guy named Jeff & start a music group. 😀
