what are the chances that "Laura" returns as a Tulpa?
I keep think Candy is related to Laura. She reminds me of the old room service waiter (Señor Droolcup) who was related to the Giant's appearance in season one. ("One and the same.") Both absentminded and apparently hopeless at their jobs. Now Candy's apparently headed off to Twin Peaks.

But manufactured for what purpose?
Hmmm Coop gave what looked like a lock of his hair to Mike (we assume in order to manufacture another Dougie). Could the same be done to make another Laura? I've been wondering about this "lost" last page from Laura's secret diary. Could it contain something of Laura's that could be used to bring her back?
Is BOB still trying to find a way to get to her? Laura is "the one", need we be reminded..
I actually think there's a Laura doppelganger or tulpa now. The reason being, is because I started re-watching the original series last night, and it got me thinking...
In episode 3 of the 1st season (where Cooper has that dream of being in the red room with Laura and The Man from Another Place), The Man from Another Place says to him about Laura "She's my cousin... but doesn't she look almost exactly like Laura Palmer?".
Could that mean there are 2 Lauras?....Hope I make sense somehow.
ISTR there is a lock of Laura's hair around somewhere.
"I am dead, yet I live."
Maybe the orb sent down to earth has been dormant for years, waiting for Laura's tulpa. Once activated, perhaps the two get together and become a new, whole Laura as a force for good, or at least, balance. It seems the Fireman and Senorita Dido consider Laura to be a benign influence.
I always thought that was a reference to Maddie, who looked almost exactly like her cousin, Laura.

To return her to Sarah. Simplistic, yes. But, Sarah has had quite a rough go over the last 25+ years (even longer considering Leland (Bob) drugged her so he could rape Laura). It would be nice to see her actually enjoy a moment when all is said and done.
Not to mention her whole self destructive and violent time loop and face removal thang. Destroying Mr C alone isn't going to achieve the needed rebalance, IMO.
I think that the "Laura is the One" comment that the Log Lady said means that she's the dreamer. I think a lot of what we are seeing with the lodges are manifestations of Laura's thoughts (both conscious and unconscious). She may come back as a Tulpa or maybe the real Laura will come back somehow. At this point, we can't rule anything out. Most of what we've seen in the Return would have been impossible to predict. I mean, who would have thought that Hutch and Chantal would meet their demise by an angry neighbor?! It was obviously set up in a way for us to believe that the Mitchun Brothers would take care of them, but nope....angry Polish accountant neighbor.
