I was a little worried that Julee wasn't coming back. In the documentary, she talks about throwing shit and giving Lynch a hard time and then apologizing years later (he evidently didn't give her the creative freedom that she desired).

I've been trying to justify the Roadhouse music choices in my head, but honestly, the music has been really hit-or-miss this season. That has been the ONE failing in my mind so far. I quickly got over the fact that this was not going to be like the first season, and I have embraced and loved it as its own work. Nevertheless, I wish there had been more Badalamenti music, and I would have much preferred one or two really good Roadhouse musicians (one of them being Julee Cruise) over the plethora we've seen.
Maybe I'll change my mind when rewatching the season.
