I'm feeling this as a quite plausable  posibility. I guess Mr. C's rape made her leave the Bureau. And, the only person who might know where Diane is, is Janey-E.

I've been of the mind that the "two birds" reference meant that Richard and Linda were either siblings or half-siblings, so this would make sense.

Someone else brought up the "one stone" part of the Fireman's comment and questioned if it could have something to do with the stone Richard vaporized from.  IMO, also plausible.

Candie is now going to Twin Peaks and so if she is the daughter of Diane and Mr C her original name could have been Linda and she may well end up on that rock as we still have the second day for the next meeting to take place with the Twin Peaks sheriff department.

I was hoping that Linda would be the Good Dale and Annie's daughter TBH. Where the heck is Annie???

Where the heck is Annie?

In this timeline she seems to be non-exist-ent (according to Mark Frost).

Not entirely.  Hawk mentioned her when discussing the diary pages with Hank.

I think Linda is the real Diane's daughter.  Whether she's living at the Fat Trout or whether she's been renamed Candie I have no clue.

Right. So I would say Annie exists in this timeline but she's just "a girl" (as Hawk said) neither Norma's sister nor the winner of Miss Twin Peaks contest.

I do think the stone that vaporized Richard maybe  related in some way to "the stone"  in the Firemans comment.  Richard came to that stone and there was action from him being there to his detriment and we all agree the devil got his due .  Will Linda whoever that may be end up at the same stone and what will happen once there?  Or is there no significance to the stone in the Richard frying scene and the "stone" is Mr C himself and the fact that Linda (if the daughter of Diane) and Richard came from the same paternal origin?  Can't wait to find out!

I'm not sure. Italian editors have freely translated the Fireman's speech as "due piccioni con una fava" (literally "two pidgeons with one broad bean", a common Italian phrase) without any referring to a stone. Translators should know what happens later in the series.

I wonder if he already got Linda. Something was planted at that stone. It happened at the right time. Maybe both birds are dead.

There are certainly a lot of ways to translate and speculate ..... hopefully we will have the answer in 4 days!  Hard to believe we are almost there!!
