Around the dinner table, the conversation was lively. Thank you but for now, the forum has been archived.
Now, that's a proper Bloody Mary!
Wonder if he's going to meet up with Sarah?
I noted this as well. It introduced the color red into the scene and could very well be foreshadowing.

Love that line too "wait wait wait !..i wanna hear this too. Candie.. where is my Bloddy Mary?"
Speaking of colors, did anyone else notice Diane was wearing blue? I think this is the first time she hasn't worn yellow, green or red since she came on the Road to Buckhorn.

I'm going to have to rewatch episodes for Blue specifically. I was reading Reflections and I thought it was interesting that even back in season 2 there was a "no blue unless David says so" rule. Blue is invested with a lot of significance.

Now that's going to be a "bloody" good time!

It's America. You can get a bloody mary with a whole chicken in it.

Cooked or raw?
Clearly I'm visiting the wrong bars.
I wouldn't want a Bloody Mary with a chicken in it. Nor would I want a Screwdriver with a screwdriver in it, nor a Boilermaker with a...
Oh, you get the idea.
I like to drink me drinks and eat me eats. Not averse to the celery in a BM, though. You would be amazed - or maybe you wouldn't - how many places here don't know what a Bloody Mary is, never mind how to make one. Even asking for ice in some places is like you asked them to give you oral pleasure.
On the very rare occasions I go out for a drink, though, I usually stick to beer of various sorts. They can usually serve that without getting it wrong. Merry Old England doesn't do service with a smile. Or service.

Jings! And crivens, even.
That's just plain silly.
No, it's several kinds of silly.
It's at the very least, a multiplicity of Picard Facepalms silly.

I thought that was a very brave choice of drink. I hope that's a smooth limo ride.

I wanted to give this a surprisy-face response because as soon as I saw the thread title, I knew where it was going and WHOA.
Now I'm thinking that she'll try her own surprisy-face response on the Mitchums, and Ike will run into the bar and stab one of them and run like hell, and Dale and Janey-e will use Kung Fu to subdue them.
Or maybe that's Mark Frost's drink and he just wanted it in two scenes. Two very, very different scenes.
