Around the dinner table, the conversation was lively. Thank you but for now, the forum has been archived.
I started rewatching Season 2 (after Leland makes his grand exit) since I have seen that less than any other parts of Twin Peaks. Picked up on a couple interesting things.
1) There was a Mayor named Dougie.
2) Dick, in a scene with Andy and Lucy about the unknown father of the baby, uses the line, "Got a light?"
I would guess it means nothing, but open to any ideas!
Dougie (Douglas Milford) is a key character in the Secret History of Twin Peaks book.
Yes, many have wondered about the Mayor Dougie bit and if it is in any way related. Hard to tell.
As for Dick Tremaine.....maybe he's a woodsman. Personally I've just tried to forget he exists.

Dick was one of those forgettable characters that seems to have no purpose to the story.
