I love the idea that the bad guys get random deaths the season whether Hutch and Chantal gunned down by some random person or Richard evaporated on a rock doing something he has no idea about.
BUT.
what if the accountant is another Freddie sent by the fireman. What if he met the fireman and was told to move to Vegas. And someday some one will block your driveway and if they don't move you must make them move or kill them. It is his mission
i don't expect this to be revisited, but it is a nice thought

Ties in very well with my idea of things working out for Coop, as if planned in advance. I believe all the "coincidences" were engineered to help him out and shut down the opposition. The way the Mitchums went from potential Coop killers to becoming best buddies was a masterstroke.
I was a little worried about the Mitchum Brothers for a brief second....

Everyone's under a lot of stress...
😉
That was one of my favorite scenes. My husband was watching with me although he knows nothing about TP. I was laughing my head off while they were getting shot, and that is so unlike me. He was just looking at me like I was out of my mind. I think he's worried.

I've watched the episode 5 times now and that scene cracks me up every time.
Then again, I laugh myself daft through most of Pulp Fiction, too.
I know I can google it,. but I haven't. Is Chantal the same actor who plays Daisy in The Hateful 8? She has the same voice so my money is ON.

I'm afraid of watching some movies because what I've heard about them makes me think they'll trouble me and I already have enough trouble clearing my mind for sleep. Pulp Fiction is one of those movies. I should give it a try next summer, when I can afford to stay awake. Twin Peaks never affected me that way though. That's strange because there is quite a bit of violence.

Pulp Fiction is violent in places but it's extremely funny. Imagine a comic book about gangsters brought to life. That's about the size of it. The dialogue is amazing and has a quote just about every other line. Everyone involved brought their A game.

Predestination.
Doesn't seem Lynchian. I wonder.

Pulp Fiction is truth. Watch and learn.
My husband has been drawn to the point of rage several times by people constantly blocking our driveway. The danger is real people, look for yellow painted curbs and No Parking signs! LOL
How lucky. In Seattle we don't even get paint, let alone signs. I'm so with your husband.
Just another accountant, every accountant in the U.S. carries a machine gun. 🙂
I had a morbid fascination with these two and their unquestionable affection despite the incestuous vibe and sleeping around! I'll miss them but I thought their end was perfect. Many of us were expecting some big showdown but it felt indeed so random, with all the main players (except DougieCoop himself, the intended victim) present but staying put while the accountant went on a rampage!
Grotesque, funny in its own way, disturbingly familiar. This sickness, this "world of truck drivers", these "people under stress" are not just in TP but everywhere. "A violent yet flammable world", indeed. Notice the flames coming up from the front of the crashed van.
As for theories, I'm ready to entertain the idea that the accountant is one of those happy incidents put by the Fireman (maybe) on DougieCoop's path to help him along. However I fear that the accountant or Jade or even Bushnell Mullins won't have a further role in the story. They had their own moment to shine; now I hope to stay in TP for most of the remaining couple of hours.
(About Richard: my personal jury is still out on his death, but I'll look up the relevant thread to comment.)

Incestuous? They are - were - husband and wife.
