There aren't any bullet wounds/holes/puffs -- nothing -- when Diane is shot. They've been pretty good with those, even over the top (e.g. Duncan Todd), but not here. What gives?
Also, here's as good a place as any to say, but Diane being sucked out of this plane bugged me right out. Like, leave the lights on tonight type deal. Helluva sequence, but the absence of effects is odd.
I thought the absence of effects to be odd as well. On this note, the effects used for Diane going poof in the Red Room are pretty basic, when compared to other effects used in other episodes. I'm sure the effects are all exactly as Lynch wants them to be - some extravagant, and some simplistic. All are great though!
