I believe Mr. C made Dougie out of himself. Dougie seemed to take on characteristics of a "bad" person. He cheated on his wife, he had a gambling problem, etc. I think Cooper wants Mike to make a seed out of himself so that the doppelganger will take on the real Cooper's characteristics, making him virtuous and altruistic in nature. This doppelganger, I believe, will be sent to live with Janey E and Sonny Jim.
I am hoping this is right. Cooper talked of "The seed." Now we see that he learned all about these lodge practices which we have struggled to understand. He also appeared to have authority over Mike. I believe we are going to get a lot of other answers because Coop knows them all.
Yes. I noticed that Mike is deferrent to Dale. That should resolve the issue of what side Mike is on. I also think that the note is telling Gordon to put the Ring on Mr. C. after they take him out, too, like Murat said above.
its a bit weird Dale bossing Mike around abit there,, well maybe they have this common purpose,, or..... well u can only guess
Yes, he seems to have asked Mike to make another Dougie for Janey E and Sonny Jim. I hope he changes his mind! He has lots on his plate but I'm surprised he wouldn't want to stay in their lives as Dale Cooper, husband and father.
Maybe they can restore the old Dougie himself, as a changed man and not the one that died in rancho rosa with Jade, just restore him as he would have been if Agent Cooper never took over and if he had finally quit his 'drinking and gambling' and 'saw his reflection again'. That's Dougie's world and family, not right to use him to host Agent Cooper then trap him in the red room with no chance to redeem himself. Agent Cooper doesn't fit there, thats why he had to fry himself with the fork to escape.....firstly its not really his family, so will never be right and as close as Dougie could be, and also he is an FBI agent, so cannot really be 'close' with the Mitchums or the shady stuff at Lucky 7....and maybe Agent Cooper is giving them a 'pass', letting one go, because of their help, repaying the debt..., but ill admit it that that scene in the limo was the disturbing part of the episode to me, how to reconcile the law and work with the Mitchums, you really cannot, trouble here in the end........
Can see it now; our beloved agent Dale Cooper, mortally wounded in his fight against his Doppleself. Then we flash forward to the "new and improved Dougie" he's had Mike manufacture, walking through the red doors to Sonny Jim and Janey-E.
Or this new Dougie is in the car driving at night (see teaser) for a confrontation with Mr. C?
Or am I completely wrong, cooper seem to be very confident that Dougie is coming back
Indeed "Dougie" not him !
I wondered if the priority was to create another Coop as a diversion when he confronts Mr C. And then hopefully send him to Janey E and Sonny Jim to all live happily ever after.
A new Dougie will be manufactured for Janey-E and Sonny Jim, while Dale Cooper will face Mr. C getting some help from Freddy who will smash the doppelgänger's face in the same way Mr. C did with Renzo. Not sure Dale Cooper, FBI itself in his own words, will return to be an agent, but I hope so.
Yes. Can I gloat a tiny bit because I called this....?
I said it was going to possibly be the Doctor Who/Rose solution. David Tennant's Doctor and Rose fell in love, but for reasons they could not be together so he left her in an alternate dimension with another version of him that had been created out of his spare hand.
I have achieved my purpose on Earth. I got a theory correct.
You win the Rassilon Prize for programmatic prognostication.
I got this one too!!!!! See here : http://welcometotwinpeaks.com/discuss/twin-peaks-part-15/resolutions/#post-21377 It was more of a wish than a prediction, but still.
I hope you'll let me share the prize.
I have had a really, really rotten day today (apart from actually managing to see Part 16 early in the morning - thank goodness!) and I could use some cheering up.
