It looks like a om / aum symbol but I'm not sure :

BTW, I was spoiled last friday on the end of the episode.
Australian streaming channel "Stan" made a mistake and put on Twitter, Instagram, etc...an image like they did every week when the streaming is ready.
And a guy put this image immediately on Reddit, I didn't payed attention it concerned episode 16 and click on the link...

Come to think of it, that image of Janey E is also a bit of a spoiler, because at the end of episode 15 some people thought Dougie had turned to Cooper or been transported to another dimension.

But I've checked all the scenes with Charlie and she had nothing on her arm.
This is very interesting. Marking have alway meant something in twin peaks as we know from Major Briggs and the Log lady but i feel like this is different.
The fact that it does not appear in other scenes makes it very interesting thought. I think its definitely significant just can't interpret what it could possibly mean.

So, why covering it with make up in some scenes and leaving it in the dance scene ?
Maybe another intrusion of the real life like David Lynch with Monica Bellucci at a restaurant in Paris and looking back to his real parisian gallery few yards behind him ("who is the dreamer"), or the real road sign "Entering City of Snoqualmie" seen last week.
I am going to have to lean towards this being an accident. Initially, I considered it something tied to the tattoos from season 2, but after the tat missing from the other scenes I am left going the other direction.
Anyone get a good shot of the ring she was wearing? It had a big dark green stone on it, but the design seemed off... Probably nothing.
